Welcome to Wirral Cycle Services. By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any services with us.
1. General terms
1.1 These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Wirral Cycle Services, including bike repairs, maintenance, and sales of related products.
1.2 By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1.3 We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Bookings & payments
2.1 All bookings for bike servicing must be made through our website, phone, or in person at our workshop.
2.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of collection unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
2.3 We accept payments via cash, debit/credit card, and other approved payment methods as listed on our website.
2.4 Prices for services are subject to change without notice but will not affect bookings already confirmed.
3. Cancellations & refunds
3.1 Customers may cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty.
3.2 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
3.3 If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 7 days, and we will assess the issue. Refunds or rework services are granted at our discretion.
4. Service warranty
4.1 We offer a one year warranty on all repairs and servicing. This warranty covers workmanship but does not include normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
4.2 Warranty claims must be made within the specified period and will require proof of service.
4.3 Any modifications or third-party repairs performed after our service may void the warranty.
5. Customer responsibilities
5.1 Customers must ensure that their bike is in a reasonable condition for servicing. We reserve the right to refuse service if the bike is deemed unsafe.
5.2 Personal belongings left on the bike during servicing are the responsibility of the customer. We do not accept liability for any lost or damaged items.
6. Liability & disclaimer
6.1 While we take the utmost care in handling and servicing bikes, we are not liable for any unforeseen issues arising after the service is completed.
6.2 We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damages resulting from the use of your bike after servicing.
6.3 In the unlikely event of damage caused by our staff during service, we will repair or replace the affected part at our discretion.
7. Privacy policy
7.1 We collect and process customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.
7.2 Your personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required for processing payments or complying with legal obligations.
8. Governing law
8.1 These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
8.2 Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through negotiation, failing which they will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
